As the name suggests the Funk Soul Brother band is a tight knit unit of friends and professional musicians featuring brother and sister lead vocal team Adam & Anna Ross, as well as brothers David & Fraser Graham in the brass section.
They are dedicated to giving the best possible performance and keeping all the audience on the dance floor. Many of the band members have been friends for over 25 years and have worked together in a number of different groups and situations giving an unrivalled depth to the musical understanding within the band.

Adam RossVocals & funky dance moves
Frontman and lead singer Adam Ross is a fantastic vocalist and a great mover. Adam has been in bands since the age of 14 and never fails to deliver an engaging and entertaining performance.
In his spare time (!) Adam likes to go kite-surfing and parascending, and when at school used to go skateboarding with funky singer Jay Kay from Jamiroquai!
Anna RossVocals & dance moves
Female vocalist Anna Ross is the only Funk Soul Sister and fronts up the band with brother Adam to make an unbeatable vocal team.
She has a pitch perfect voice which combines seamlessly with Adam’s to create smooth vocal harmonies and choruses.
Dave GrahamSax & Keyboards
Band leader and saxophonist David Graham fronts the brass section on alto and tenor and has performed all over the UK and Europe.
He also performs in top multi-sax group Sax Assault alongside sax players from Duran Duran, Supertramp, Incognito and the Brand New Heavies as well as being a fulltime member of the 70s pop group Showaddywaddy.
Fraser Graham Trumpet
Fraser is brother to Funk Soul Brother David (saxophone) and is a solid lead trumpet player.
Amazingly his first instrument is actually the piano and his alter ego is as an accomplished concert pianist. Wow!
Jay GoldmarkDrums
Jay is a superbly talented musician who brings bag of groove to the band. Jay has a light and even touch to his playing, meaning that all the music can still be heard clearly. Jay is also a great singer, guitarist, songwriter and percussionist. He can be seen performing with world music group Paspatou and if you're lucky you might catch him solo with his guitar.
Jimmy LindsayTrombone
Jimmy is a fantastic trombonist, singer and performer, and another great entertainer within the band.
As a musician he is in high demand and also plays in popular groups El Pussycat Ska with members of The Specials and group The Moderators.
Jon WilsonElectric Guitar
Jon is a talented axeman who has worked all over the UK and Europe. He loves to play funky guitar but also has a passion for rocktastic solos, a show highlight being his rendition of Eddie Van Halen's famous solo on Micheal Jackson's 'Beat It'.
Tommy BullFunky Bass
Tommy Bull is the ace of bass, providing the solid foundation upon which the band builds its grooves. He is much in demand as a bass player and guitarist(!), having played all over the world with artists such as Mike Sanchez, The Drugstore Cowboys, El Pussycat and most recently with bluegrass sensations The Toy Hearts. Al GurrKeyboards
Al is a multi-instrumentalist performer, producer, arranger and writer who has worked with countless performers as a pianist, bassist, and keyboard player in the pop, jazz and classical worlds. Playing credits include performances with Hayley Westenra, Alfie Boe, Sara Colman, Jenny Aggutter, Josie Lawrence, John Nettles, Mario Frangoulis and many more!
Danny HernSound & Lighting Engineer
Danny is master of all things technical and takes care of the sound and lighting production of the band. He has a vast experience in this field and always ensures that the band sounds and looks as good it possibly can. Danny is also a mean harmonica player and runs his own professional music shop.
